How to care tattoo?

1. Initial Care Right After Getting a Tattoo

What to Do Immediately

  • Keep the Wrap On
After your tattoo is done, the artist will apply a wrap or second skin to cover it.
This step protects the tattoo from bacteria and external irritation.
  • Wash Your Hands
Before removing the wrap, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and lukewarm water.
Keeping your hands clean is the most important way to prevent infection.
  • Gently Clean the Tattoo
Wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap.

2. The First Week: Healing and Protection

Moisturizing and Protecting Your Tattoo

  • Apply Moisturizer
After cleaning and drying the tattoo, apply a small amount of tattoo cream or a gentle, fragrance-free lotion.
  • Protect from Sunlight
Avoid direct sunlight on your tattoo. Cover it with clothing when outdoors.
  • Avoid Prolonged Water Exposure
During the healing period, avoid baths, swimming, or saunas.
  • Managing Scabs and Itching
As the tattoo heals, scabs and itching may occur.
  • Wear Comfortable Clothes
Choose loose, soft clothing that won’t rub or press on your tattoo.

3. Things to Avoid During Healing

  • Touching the Tattoo
Do not touch your tattoo with unclean hands, as this increases the risk of infection.
  • Using Harsh Products
Avoid using lotions with strong fragrances or alcohol, as they can irritate the tattoo.
  • Intense Exercise
Avoid heavy exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating until your tattoo has healed.

4. Long-Term Care After Healing

To Keep Your Tattoo Looking Its Best:

  • Use Sunscreen
Once the tattoo is fully healed, apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) to protect it from fading in the sun.
  • Keep Your Skin Moisturized
Dry skin can make your tattoo look dull. Use a moisturizer regularly to keep your skin healthy and hydrated.

How can I find out about your guest work schedule?

Once my schedule is finalized, I upload it on Instagram or start taking waiting lists on my website. If nothing is uploaded yet, it means nothing has been decided. I usually have overseas schedules about twice a year.

Do you work with clients under 18 years old?

No, I do not work with clients under 18, even with parental consent or accompaniment.
